Is this the ultimate 1 finger clutch? Today we install a Clake One Light clutch to our 2024 Beta Xtrainer 300. We also do a conversion to the Clake, as it was previously on a cable clutch bike where it required the Magura mineral oil kit. In rebuilding this Clake, we discovered a new step to set the depth of the piston we had previously never heard of, and which was not optimally set. Subsequently we also adjusted Furz Clake because of this and got a better feel on it too. If you have a Clake have you ever heard of this step before??

Wow, the stock clutch is like butter. Can’t imagine someone needing a easier pull.

Hi Rob. I find that the clutch pull on my KTM is pretty good but for me personally i love being able to have full grip of the bar and use the one finger clutch. I don't smash my fingers as much also. I think its also really good for those with impairments and don't have that finger strength. I agree it's really hard to explain it until you have a go with one, I haven't had anyone say they wouldn't get one (besides the huge price!). Cheers

Good info, I've had the Clake on my xt for 2yrs & always had trouble with the lever return. I'll be trying the push rod adjustment. I have 200hrs on my 2020 xt 300, 2001 yz125 kyb forks, Ohlins rear shock & a Ballard's RR pipe. Love it

Yes the Clake can be very very hard to dial in! There's so many things that can go wrong. I've got my method down pat and been able to replicate it a few times successfully now. Keep in touch and if we can give you any more tips or ideas let us know. The fB Clarke Owners Group is also very good for info. Cheers 👍👍💪

i really want one!.but im in America and it seems like a pain to get one here?
@HardUNduro9 ай бұрын
Hi. Yes I think postage can be a bit steep but I believe their biggest market is USA and Europe so I'm sure they would have availability somewhere there. Also if you have facebook join the clake group as most are from America and also Europe and there are often people selling theirs. Maybe put up.a post asking where you can get one in your area. Group is called Clake Clutch owners/users group If you can't find it let us know. Cheers

And…. What does it ride like???

Very nicely. It’s good to have the same one finger feel on the clutch and brake levers and the Clake is light enough to use with one finger all day.

Be advised !!! If you will push the piston too far in it will burn your clutch !!!
@HardUNduro10 ай бұрын
100% agree. Definitely follow the manufacturer's guidelines. So far I've not come across this issue with the few I have installed but I can see how that could happen. Thanks for letting us know. Cheers. 👍💪

@HardUNduro in addition, you need to apply Brembo oring grease on the piston's rings, otherwise it will suck air to the system. Dry orings deformed with each clutch pull.

Good call we forgot to mention that in the video. Cheers
