My Mom asked me what I was watching. She told me that Luke reminded her of me when I was 6. We were able to camp all summer on a sandbar on the Missouri River around Washington Missouri. Anyway she said she loved it because I was the reason why she was able to sleep in because my nickname was motor mouth. Lmao. I still remember that summer some 45'ish yrs ago.

Being stationed at Cape May, USCG aviator retired and that air station is closed down so I'm old, I would not eat a NJ clam. It's sad to say but the water up there is a mess and they're filter feeders. But good to see you and Luke having fun. Awesome fishing in the last video.

You’re delusional. The water has actually cleaned up remarkably since they stopped allowing the wastewater treatment plants to dump in the bags and oceans. I live on the water in Nj, the types of fish we get here now on a regular basis have changed, more southern species have moved in, some of the greatest fishing in the US is on the Nj coast. I get 2 physicals every year for work with blood work, I eat fish and shell fish from my home waters every week and nothing has changed. Now eating clams from the raritan bay or Hudson River area or down by the Chesapeake that’s a little bit different. But it’s nothing like you’re making it out to be.

Blue gabe i will agree 1000% with you. I also grew up in the south(tennessee) and always heard that you didn't want to go up north people are rude. I was a grown adult andhad to go to new Hampshire for work. Let me tell you they are some of the nicest most genuine people around. Friendly and would give you the shirt off their back.

Can not believe you were in LBI. These last two videos you were everywhere we spend our summers. My husband and I have twin 14 years old daughter. Our boat is in the slips of your capt friends canal. We could almost see it in the background of the video. You were crabbing in the same creak that we take our girls crabbing. We also clam in the same spot you were claiming. We watch all of your videos as a family in the evenings. We would have loved to have met you and Luke. It is surreal to watch your videos in our location.

I was impressed with 2 years ago when he shot the bear with his bow at the outdoor show and he continues to impress us. I grew up as a deck hand on the boats out of Barnegat light and was a great place then and still is. Winter duck hunting there is a big thing and would also make a great video.

Been watching your videos for a long time gabe, and seeing this video hypes me up! After watching all this time, you finally came into my neck of the woods! I’ve lived in south jersey my entire life and have also hunted and fished my entire life. New Jersey doesn’t get the credit it deserves for its fish and game. Everyone from the other 49 states think we’re all Italian and live in the city lol but you showed off New Jersey the only way I’ve ever known it my whole life. There’s a lot too offer for us outdoorsmen here in nj and I love to see it get the recognition it deserves👍🏻

Glad you got to enjoy your trip with Luke. I know Jake’s looking forward to his trip. As the oldest child in my family, unfortunately I never got to do the trips with the parents. They started doing it the one off with the other kids and by that time I was already up and gone to my adult life. So I really respect how you ensure that each of your boys gets dedicated attention on top of everything else you do for them and with them. Be well be you
