Looks like I am 3 years too late to say that I love your channel and look forward to more! I just got my Black Knight and was looking for assembly ideas. 💡

That packaging still makes me roll my eyes. "Premium baggy" indeed. It is a solid, super-detailed mini I'll grant that. I think you did a great job on the assembly and painting (though you were the one that turned me on to Clan Sea Fox, so just a _little_ miffed at your choice of basing 😉). Great showcase as always. I've got 2 level II's coming with Wave 2 and I think I'm going to swap the force pack Black Knight with this one and give the force pack one to the Combine for some 3039 surprises.

Ah well the reasons I went with a CDS Adder on the base, is that I wanted a direct counter piece to all my Clan Mechs. I also wanted to recognize how badly my Clan did on Tukayyid in a sort of grim way.

Black Knights are rare Star League relics in the roleplaying game. They have a great reputation on and off the battlefield but you don't see them often. And because they've been rebuilt so many times for so many owners, each one is essentially a unique mech variant. You never really know what kind of Black Knight you're facing until it demonstrates all its attack options on you.

Real question: If BT would become more globally available, would Creative Juggernaut models suffer the same fate as Forgeworld kits being quite expensive/ harder to get outside of europe?

It wouldn't surprise me if future releases became more intricate with more and more options. I think price will always be a higher/premium over smaller runs of miniatures.

One thing I don't like about their Premium Miniatures is that they don't package in an Alpha Strike card and a Pilot Card. The latter is especially true for the unique mechs, like the Grinner. I would have wanted a Phelan Ward pilot card to go with the Rana Kerensky card. They also could have given us a Vlad Ward with the Timber Wolf TC Premium Mech.

Mini looks good. It's expensive though. When you tried to remove seams from the fingers (and they broke) did you use a knife or sanding stick?

The fingers are hella fragile. Overall it's nice. I'm OK with the 25 buck purely because of the small scale production and the whole made in America thing.

Oh shit its still going. THANK GOD, I was worried all of this was dead... I wanna get back into BattleTech now that GW has officially slapped themselves over the head hard enough to fall over...and I was worried I was out of luck. Glad to hear Catalyst is still going strong. Anywhere I can get these?
