Hopping in on the trend! Sorry this took so long, everyone, recording this was a nightmare! As a big fan of Warrior Cats, and someone who just LOVES making new OCs, I had to join! I encourage anyone who wants to join in to make your own Clan as well!

I also have a Sunclan! If you care to know about them a bit: My Sunclan is led by Whiskerstar. They have territory far away from their rival clans so they don't worry too much about other clans crossing their borders. Their former leader, Cherrystar was timid and wiser than Whiskerstar, but since they didn't have much to worry about, a lot of the more rowdy cats got bored fairly easily, often acting out or trying to cause problems with the other clans. Whiskerstar, or Whiskerclaw at the time, grew tired of Cherrystar's constant refusal to challenge the other clans and challenged her for the position of leader. A challenge that ultimately meant Cherrystar's demise. Whiskerstar had many supporters in the clan that also wanted something to do besides hunt, and were very on board with the challenge, even calling Cherrystar a coward for initially refusing the challenge. After he received his 9 lives, Whiskerstar's supporters encouraged him to start a fight pit, if you will, where the clan fights itself for higher privileges and better food (The Elders, queens and kits are still all fed the best food before any food is fought for, as Whiskerstar believes that they are the true warriors of the clan.) Different ranking warriors have specific scars along their shoulders to "show off" how many times they have won a fight in their clan. The more scars the better fighter you are and the more respect you get from your clanmates. Sunclan will boast about their infighting at gatherings to the other clans who find the idea absolutely crazy and morally wrong. Though Sunclan could care less about what the other clan's think of them and tell them that they should be lucky that they don't turn their aggression on them.

Despite the clan name being the opposite of most felines' colors it still makes sense as what most likely happened: A few darker-colored felines had some kits and since black is a dominant color more and more were born. Lovely design by the way, I'm very new to the whole warrior cat thing but i have a soft spot for all the connections, colors etc for em!

Eh, black is dominant over chocolate or blue, but white is dominant over black and neither red nor black are dominant over one another. But ye it would make sense if you ended up with a good few dark cats having kits and thus not giving room for other colours like red to really spread in the process

Just an fyi black tabby is a brown cat with black stripes not a black cat with stripes. I didn't even know that until I watched a video about making the warriors genetically correct. I just thought you would like to know

Dude, when I did this challenge I added so many FREAKING characters. I'm not even on the kits and apprentices- I'm at about 20 cats rn and it'll probably reach 30 when I'm done (I'm also planning on writing a story for funsies, so I have to write more clans and will most likely make them VERY small since these freaks have really been getting to business in that first clan 💀)
