Saw these guys at Thunder in the Glens in 2014. Their recorded music is amazing but live is something else entirely. Played over amps, feeling every drum beat hit your chest like your chest is the drum? Virtually everyone was on their feet :)

Was in Scotland in July 2018 and rode with a cab driver who was personal friends with Clanadonia. He had their album playing in his car. Definitely was a great experience listening to this music in its homeland. ❤️

I can't help but drum along to every single one of Clanadonia's songs.. I don't know if it's the fact that I was born in Scotland or descended from vikings or early celts, but drumming along to anything with a good beat - especially Scottish tribal music - is like second nature to me.. and bagpipes always get my blood pumping. I've watched so many of their live videos, and I'm always baffled as to how people can stand still or resist the urge to whip out a margarine tub and start drumming on it, when they hear those drums.. This one is my absolute favorite song of theirs, though.. the bagpipe melody in it is phenomenal.. and I feel like it really captures Tu-Bardh's essence.
