I think if both songs would have been sad , they would have been an emotional overkill after all that's what the series was mainly about , not the sadness of life but finding the torch of little sparks of happiness scattered through out our lives.

Honestly, a pretty damn good song. However, failed usage/placement :( Clannad After Story is an anime that leads you on the pretence of light hearted high school anime, then kicks you in the gut with the feels. As such, it feels hella outta place when someone dies and then this starts playing.

@kernelpanic001 It fit well for most episodes, but for episodes 16 and 21 it... was awful. The emotional whiplash caused by going from one emotional extreme to the other caused by this song is... physically painful.

Great song. Awful placement. Actually, if they had switched the ending themes it probably would've been better.
