Clannad é uma banda irlandesa formada em 1970 em Gweedore, Condado de Donegal pelos irmãos Ciarán, Pól e Moya Brennan e seus tios gêmeos Noel e Pádraig Duggan . I haven't a drop of Irish blood since 6 generations ago and it speaks to me deep inside. Clannad is what prompted me learn enough Gaelic to follow the lyrics.

Yes! The made the Bilboard charts, did the theme music for Harry's Game, Robin Hood and Braveheart. They sold over 15 million albums. America isn't the only to measure success.

@@sunshinemallorieparkinson2560 Thanks for the reply. I absolutely Love Clannad. Regardless of how any tune might chart. (By the way .. I believe James Horner was the composer of the Braveheart soundtrack .. which is also Epic). I think that my only point might have been .. that these tunes are great .. but for me .. all of the Robin of Sherwood tunes were even Better .. (and there are prob a few in here) .. but IMO they can't be beat. And also, Harry's game theme ... and 'in a lifetime' (despite bono being part of it - he did well there BUT). Clannad are the deepest most meaningful artists that I have ever encountered. ; )
