Clara Lieu was an Adjunct Professor at the Rhode Island School of Design from 2007-2020. Her artwork has been exhibited at the International Print Center NY, the Currier Museum, Childs Gallery, the Davis Museum, and more. I try many times to make the portraits perfect at each step, but I'm sure I have to once in a while try to go in freely with the intention to mess up (kind of the same logic that you use when playing Video Games - play to lose so that you get better at it!)
