Fans need to see more knockouts in women's boxing. Like Claressa said, bouts need to be 3 minutes 12 rounds. Women's boxing needs more "quality" fighters. Bouts tend to be lopsided as hell. The ubdercards need to be better. So many variables that have to be improved before we can really take it serious. Once women's boxing improves, more people will begin to support, and the money will increase. The average person, including myself, can't name more than 5 or 6 female boxers. Sad but true

Claressa Shields is a very good female boxer but her claim to be the GWOAT after fighting pro for about 3 years with 9 fights (10 now) is laughable. Fighters like Ann Wolfe (25 fights), Regina Halmich (56 fights), Laila Ali (24 fights), Cecilia Braekhus (36 fights), Mia St. John (65 fights), Natascha Ragosina (22 fights), Lucia Rijker (17 fights) and so many others have resumes to put them in a GWOAT conversation. Shields made her "GWOAT" boast after 9 fights. She does not have a long enough career to make such an outrageous claim. Can you imagine what an in-her-prime Ann Wolfe would do to the Claressa Shields with 9 fights? Wolfe would destroy her. Shields needs much more experience (and a little humility) to ever be seriously considered as the GWOAT. On the female fighter pay topic. In general female boxers will always make much less than male boxers because the male boxing market for paying customers is vastly larger than the market for females. It's not really about lack of promotion, it's about marketing an inferior product. Think of the WNBA or Women's Soccer. Does Claressa believe those female athletes should be paid the same as their male counterparts? The market, not the gender of the athletes, determines the revenue.

People miss the fact that the men are getting a % of what the fight brings in and so do the women. In fact women probably get a higher % but it's based on ticket sales, viewership, etc.. If Shields could sellout T-Mobile Arena or Madison Square Garden with tickets going as high as 30k for top seats and viewership on Showtime hitting the millions then she would make the million dollar paydays like Canelo, Floyd and others. You can not pay her what is not there as no company in the world works to go bankrupt or to lose money. That's what a lot of these women are missing the point on.

I’m from Michigan DETROIT to be exact. With that being said, CS is a great female fighter, however, let’s be real not much of the population is into seeing women fight. CS is the Lomecianco of women’s boxing. This lady is a grade above the rest in this era of female boxing! In my opinion, it’s not becoming of lady to think she’s the best thing since sliced bread! Humble herself, dude she is a boxer where she make money risking her life. She has to promote herself and her accomplishments speak for themselves. Women boxing is not a household sport and the only reason it's getting this much coverage is because of her. Be humble in golf, ping pong, or basketball, in boxing humble gets you broke.
