A special thank you for repeating about the white space! Your flowers are gorgeous! And they look sooo true in spite of being airy and loose. Marvelous!

I thoroughly enjoyed this painting,as I do all of them. But you are my favorite floral artist because I love the lightness, and dreamy qualities others dont give me. The softness of the flowers is what I'm after. Thank you.

Thank you for this, it’s magical how the flower seems to appear on the page, and I absolutely love how the depth of the first flower appeared. As a beginner I struggle to get a perspective view, as opposed to the full on front view. I’ll just keep practising. x

Also, I have seen where people have asked where Clarice got her sea shell pallet. Walmart has them individually sold for a couple bucks in the artificial flower area. Look by the oasis . Hope this helps.
@ClariceGomesdesigns3 жыл бұрын
Ohhh are they? I had no idea! The clam shell is something that was presented to my daughter, by a retired captain, on one of our vacations to New Foundland about 4 years ago. I've borrowed it permanently 😂.
@sharonsands7083 жыл бұрын
@@ClariceGomesdesigns Nice of her to let you have it. Lol, myself, I use a white saucer I got at a thrift store. That way I get a sense of the true color. I didnt care for the plastic pallets,the paint beads up,plus stains, I figured then I wouldnt see the true color I was mixing. That's just me though, hahaha.
@sharonsands7083 жыл бұрын
@@ClariceGomesdesigns Also, I think it's very cool that you use that. It's very effective. I also liked that your paints were in individual pans, so I bought some, put my paints in them and only have to get out what I'm using. So thank you for inspiring that.
@lindyhawthorne21643 жыл бұрын
So it's ok to leave the puddles at the base of the top petals ?. I thought that they should be removed.....only from other vids that I've watched......just checking !!! thank you.

I'll have to watch the video again to see your ref. But I would say, dab the extra water with paper towel.
@leannkirkpatrick40793 жыл бұрын
I don’t have the same watercolors, mine aren’t named. Can you do a small swatch on paper in the beginning so I can match colors easier?
@ClariceGomesdesigns3 жыл бұрын
Hi Mary, I would suggest doing a search online to see what your colours are called or its equivalent. Also, watch the video ahead to look for colour and then begin. This is a helpful tip, will def look to incorp it.
@LCLand2 жыл бұрын
Do you refer to the flower as a floral? Sometimes it’s confusing to understand what you are trying to convey because I’m not sure if you are calling the flower a floral or are you referring to composition?
@ClariceGomesdesigns2 жыл бұрын
Sorry you weren't able to follow. This is the first time I'm hearing about this confusion.
@tinagagnon2 жыл бұрын
Well, that wasn’t as easy as you make it to be….I guess more, so much more practice…thank you !
@ClariceGomesdesigns2 жыл бұрын
The most difficult part would be getting your water to colour mixing ratios. I would encourage you to keep trying/practicing to get a feel for that. This is the best way to become more comfortable with this medium 😀
