Easily Print Large PDF Patterns: Two Ways to Print It Right!

Great! You downloaded that gigantic PDF pattern... now what? Is it possible to print it at home? Is there an easier way? I hope this quick video helps you print your pattern correctly the first time so you can get on with cutting some leather!

I bought a ream of letter size card stock from Amazon and it feeds through my printer wonderfully and it's nice and stiff for patterns. I also use my copier on my ink jet printer to put hand drawn sketch patterns on the card stock.

If you click on the labels checkbox , it does give you the numbers in grid. Something like this : (1,1),(1,2),(1,3),(2,1)(2,2)(2,3) . So even if you mess up the pages, you will still be able to jigsaw them back together. :-) Always love your content BTW! :-)

Hi Tanner, thanks for the tips! Can I just use the measurements to mark directly on the leather without printing? I tend to do that for larger pieces that are rectangular. Hope to hear your thoughts. Thanks!

That sounds like it could work, but I have some hole locations marked out on one of the pieces that would need to be transferred fairly accurately. Unfortunately I didn’t dimension everything on the patterns.

For sure! The holes on the big panels always spaced at 1” apart, so that should be easy!

I sent the file to local printer. Small town. They printed it on 12” x 18” paper = 16 pages tiled. $2.15 👍

Just a local printshop- I bet you can find a local place that prints on 36” paper (like for architectural blueprints, etc). Good luck!

Are you able to see any of the pages? The pattern is the last page of several pages. It should open right up in Adobe Acrobat.

I asked to print it in local shop and they told me, that the actual size will be 80*154sm, is it correct?

Do you mean centimeters? That does sound about right!

There is a scale block on the drawing as well- you will be able to measure it with a ruler to ensure it has printed exactly to scale. 👍 Have fun!

@@ClaridgeLeather didnt work for me- print it with Adobe Acrobat Reader, tons of pages, all without borders, so I decided to use a local print shop.
