Aaaaand it's normal in Scandinavia to have to separate duvès, you might love your partner but it's still too hot for one or another under the same duvèt :D Nice to see you in Norway tho! :D

Saying there is no other option, You need to try the hotel "Amerikalinjen". Just opposite of the sentral station, and opened one months apart. Also owned by choice/strawberry but kept out chain as a stand alone hotel. Was part of building both hotels, and the feel of Amerikalinjen is just on a different level.

Thank you for this option I honestly was not aware of the Amerikalinjen but it does look very nice. If I make it back I will keep that in mind!

The Hub is a good hotel, but Hotel Continental, Grand Hotel, The Thief and Sommerro Hotel are all regarded as better/more luxury hotels in city centre. The Hub is more like a competitor to Oslo Plaza which have plans to expand and retake the position as the largest hotel in Oslo.

Thank you for the recommendations. Yes some of those also look really nice and I will keep those in mind if I ever return to Oslo.

@@gogotravelwithjosh The Thief is featured in the Christopher Nolan movie Tenet. They shot scenes in one of the hotel rooms and shot outside in the area nearby.
