@@two_inch_destroyer5820 Yes; he co-wrote/produced it along with Zedd, it was going to be a collab between them; however this was around the time Porter wasn't happy with the state of EDM and he decided to take his name off of it. Over time he's grown more open and happy with music in general, and as such he decided to bring back Clarity with his own spin on it (just in time too, Clarity had it's 10 year anniversary just months prior). In the original, you may be able to pick out Porter's voice amongst the backing vocals in the chorus.

It's crazy how much the crowd voices end up adding to this. I really can't tell if it was natural or done by you that theres a distinct group of voices that create a higher and lower octave vocal track.

Haven't checked the project file in a while BUT I'm pretty sure that's all the natural crowd voices, we spliced together multiple crowd recordings from both Nurture Live and the afterparty show, I will say the afterparty recordings had a better tone overall (probably because it was more enclosed so the acoustics captured a fuller sound); there is also the clarity isolated vocals (including the subtle background heeeeys etc from the original) playing in the background, and that's pitched up 4(?) semitones up to match the key of Porter's version, so that could be the source of the higher octave tone, but for the most part the crowd is carrying the tone on it's own which is awesome ✦
