That was superb, a brilliant story fantastically well read. Thank you. Really reminded me of Algernon Blackwood's "the willow's". Amazing atmosphere.

I can take no credit for any part of the story nor the reading. I just downloaded it when I found it on KZbin and uploaded it again because I too think it's an amazingly good story. Glad you liked it....

You do this well. Many other channel/readers mis-pronounce or mis-use words in their stories. Those mistakes are like flakes in paint, small but so visible and degrading to the over-all product. Keep up the good work.

Meh. Somebody spent hours reading you a book for free. Nobody's perfect. FWIW, I pronounce "desultory" with the accent on the 2nd syllable. This reader accents the 1st. Or "arBOR-e-al" which he pronounces "arborEal," with the accent strangely placed on the 3rd. Dammit. started complaining and now I'm nit-pickin'. I'll tell you. Reading the turgid prose of Poe, Burroughs, Howard and Smith as a youngster, I learned a lot of vocabulary that I understood by context, but never heard spoken aloud, except by ME, and often I discover, later, that I'm pronouncing them, incorrectly. Tarzan had me pronouncing "cache" like "cake," as in "stomach ache," because logic. LOL!

Hello Roland I've really enjoyed your readings of CAS most of which I've listened to twice. Please make some more. I also Like HPL, have you made any recordings of his writing. Overall not so keen on REH's stories compared to CAS and HPL. Thanks.

Thanks Colin, I have to make it clear that they are not "mine" readings. I found them online on a YT channel taken off-line 'cause of copyright issues. I downloaded all of them. I can't upload everything I would like, I don't want any problems. But I will look if there are a few more I can upload. Glad you liked them.
