What Fantastic writing! Flawless in its cadence, matched only by this expert narration, by the reader. Two BIG thumbs up!!

I have come across several stags with the marrow of their spines sucked dry and I too can attest that it's always a creature of the pit. In Oregon he have open season on any pit creatures that may be abroad. Invasive species.

Glad you like the channel. Sorry for the late reply but I have moved to another place and haven't had Internet for months, nearly a year. I still play R 'n R and gonna make a new home video soon. I want to have a recording of myself playing Waiting for the Man by the Velvet Underground..... Yeah, and then some. All the best from Holland.

Yes, rare , extreme genius in style and content. What dream weaving.

He certainly has a way with words, it's almost poetry...

@@RolandWieffering1 Indeed, It is poetry. A total pivot and don't feel obliged to reply. A few years back, a channel posted most of the work of Fritz Leiber's Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser stories---another dream weavered world---are you familiar with those stories? And/or know where they can be retrieved?

Great, I think he's one of the best writers of the Lovecraft Circle. And very versatile.

I would love to have you read Clark Ashton Smith's The Colossus of Ylourgne. I think your readings are the best out there. Thank you.

Yes, this is one of those timeless stories written by CAS. Like The Beast of Averoigne or The Death of Malygris which I like very much too. ...No wider than a wizards staff ... Glad you liked it Eamon (Irish?). Anyway, all the best from Holland

He pretty much dropped of the fiction scene the last few decades of his life. Spent that time doing sculptures hoping to make it big as an artist.

Props to the Narrator! Hard to pull off CAS but N. did a really good job. Smith is an awesome writer. Narr. had a smooth and deadpan, explanatory delivery... Suits the Oldies well.

I looked at Bizarchives and it's nice to see some new stories. But besides comments I can't see how I can be of any help or contribute to the site. I'll see if I have any stories I wrote that are suitable for The Bizarre Archive, Cool name by the way. Thanks for introducing me to the site. Anything with the words, Arkham, Miskatonic University Library, Order of Dagon, Innsmouth, etc. etc. Has my immediate attention..... By the way, did you read "Wilbur Whateley Waiting" with the mentioning of "Do What Thou Wilt" and "Word of the Aeon" which all refer to Aleister Crowley , one of the most misunderstood persons of the century. All the best from Holland 👍🏻(let's stay in contact, are you American?)
