I always enjoy your videos. After seeing your stag 66 in your last video, I broke out my 66. I hadn't carried it in a lil while, but it's back in the pocket. Keep it up

Very nice! The case is definitely bone. That’s what the 6 stands for at beginning of numbers.

My understanding is # 6 is bone OR delrin. Someone can correct me if I’m wrong. Or they can educate us with if that is true and if so, what year did delrin start being used. That might narrow down that it could definitely be bone or not. Either way it is an awesome knife, I have watched twice just to “hear” that snap!

@@casexx94 6 can refer to any jigged material.
@casexx9412 күн бұрын
@KennethKellogg-kt7bf Thanks for that info and reminder. I love my jigged wood better than my delrins so that’s what I’ll put in my pocket today. Read somewhere that delrin didn’t start till mid 70’s so his 71 should be bone. Then there is the whole period of a circle around the Case in the shield to differentiate between bone vs delrin too.

first number in the handle material and i think 6 is Delrin

WTF is teener?? Lol... GEC is over priced... Might as well buy a rosecraft, miller bros, or one of then new/crap Case xx trash.. I do like the old case though... 👍👍👍🇺🇸✌️
@Clarkknives19 күн бұрын
@@davidstalter6006 patina it’s when your blade goes from polished to a darker kind of blade it helps prevent rust and also it’s carbon steel instead of stainless and gec isn’t overpriced I usually only pay 20-30 more than a new case knife and they are way better quality than case or rosecraft no hate tho cases quality control is crap now days and rosecraft ain’t usa made and has fake bolsters but it’s all about preference
