From my understanding clark sold out in the mid 80s maki g clark equipment a rare find, I'm 21 and work at a rock quarry/cement plant and we have two clark 125 s, one that I oporate on a daily its the 125B model and the other is a 125 c and its getting restored. I have to say working at a quarry filled with newer cat equipment Im impressed with the performance of the clark and its capabilities

+eddie bowens yeah it would be nice if they make a come back... although in my eyes a Volvo loader is just a Clark with a badge swap lol

Ahhh, the good old daze when men were men, and sheep were afraid. When machinery was built with the expectation that it would be worked hard, yet hold up for a long time (with decent preventative maintenance, of course). The stuff coming out today leaves much to be desired, no thanks to sensors and compukers micromanaging everything.

I've recently purchased a disused mine in outback Queensland Australia. Part of the deal was a whole bunch of plant and equipment including a 175B, 475B, Wabco 75T Haulpak and some other random gear.... None have been operated since 2005, but I'll get 'em going! I've posted a few small vids if you're interested.

Why cant they just call the damn thing a wheel loader thats what its technically called anyway
@danielboughton3624 Жыл бұрын
Caterpillar came out with "wheel loaders" in the late 50's to replace their Traxcavator line. Clark/Michigan had been building "tractor shovels" since the early 50's. I'm guessing there was a copyright name there. When I was a kid we called them skip loaders. I don't know if that was local lingo or not.
