Mattie Moss Clark is such a regal, classy lady. A true stellar example of American Feminism, family matriarchy, and power. Her legacy will live on through the generations of her descendants til the end of all time.

@DeVante Cooley Oh absolutely! Definitely not disregarding Rev. Elbert Clark and his role. However, much is to be regarded and noted about Dr. Mattie Moss Clark as an American Heroine and trailblazer. I think it's understated or even sometimes overlooked the fact that women like her were the first to independently establish themselves and their reputations in American music. As a composer, teacher, choir director, and musician, Mattie Moss Clark, by her own accord and agency, made a significant impression on American Gospel Music, which was then further innovated by her daughters (all female). That's all I was saying.

Mattie was also charming too I’m still confused as to how they felt she looked out of placed with her daughters. I always felt when she stopped singing with her daughters it took a piece of her as well.

We rightfully place emphasis on her Godliness, but I agree, Dr. Clark was an attractive woman. That’s why the girls are still attractive!
