Thanks for sharing! My son and I are loving Clash of Steel. We have been playing at least one game a week for the past few months.

That's great! What forces have you built? Are you playing beyond the base content of the Starter boxes?
@hneugiii12452 ай бұрын
@AllMiniaturesGreatandSmall so far we have two of each starter set (4 total) and a few additional units for each faction. My son is playing Soviets and British. I have the Germans and Americans. We picked up a few flames of war units such as Panzer IVs and Crusaders cheap at a con, we have thrown them in occasionally.

Great job John … I have been hearing about this coming out … I’m excited for it… Mostly because of the Patton … by far my favorite tank … this was the tank of my childhood with plastic army men … I’m a platoon short for my collection of M-60s for Team Yankee … I have decided that they are now going to be proxies for the new ERA armor variant and I will instead build an entire new formation of Patton’s using these models with the Big White Stars and the US Army stencil lettering and an American 🇺🇸 flag… I’m getting excited just thinking about it… especially with Team Yankees new Plastic Infantry… Great time to be in the hobby

Agreed! Sounds like a great plan and yes it is a great time to be in the hobby

Great review! I am also excited to see them move towards early Cold War/Checkpoint Charlie

Agreed. It's interesting we are seeing this bridging of Flames of War and Team Yankee.

I mean, they already have M48, M103, Centurion, T-54/ T-55, and T-10 miniatures in production, so there's not much holding them back on the miniatures side of things. It would be nice, though not necessary, to get M59. M75, and BTR-152 APCs in plastic for Checkpoint Charlie, but that's hardly enough to delay a release for.

Loved the video @AllMiniaturesGreatandSmall! Can't wait for the next video man! The M48 Patton Tanks are, from what @FogofWar can tell, M48A2's Refitted to the M48A3 Standards onwards as it has the Cast Hull of the M48A2, but it's got the Raised Engine Deck and the Suspension Design of the M48A3 Tanks Onwards. It's a Really Interesting Kit with Parts for Israeli Usage in "Fate of a Nation", American Usage in "Vietnam", an Entire Area of Sprue dedicated to the West German M48A2C as well as Parts for South Korean Usage. The Latter part's the most Interesting as it may Indicate that we'll be Getting more Asiatic Forces coming to Battlefront's Line, Nations like the People's Republic of China, North Korea, Vietnam, South Korea, Taiwan, The Philippines and Maybe even the State of Japan. Think of the video game "Wargame: Red Dragon" with the Red Dragon's (People's Republic of China, North Korea and Vietnam) and the Blue Dragon's (Taiwan, South Korea, The Philippines and the State of Japan) but in Miniature by Battlefront. I'm kinda hoping we get the M46 and M47 Patton Tanks as the M47 was the only Model in the Patton Tank Lineage that was Mainly for Export. The M47 was best known for it's Service with Pakistan in the Indo-Pakistani Wars of 1965 and 1975 as well as Martin B-57B Canberra Jet Bombers (which were a License Built Variant of the English Electric Canberra used by the Royal Air Force and the Royal Australian Air Force). Let me know what you think about this and I'll catch you in your next video man!

Great box set. Wave 2 starter sets are so good! Also for Fate of a Nation. Got some IS-3 and will add some M48.

Not complaining here. I think the American force in this release is my favorite.

Great video. I just found your channel. While I'm not interested in the in the game, it seems like an awesome box if you want to shoot your buddies with armor.

Does the T57 Turret fit on the M48 to make the T77/M77

the M48 is also in Fate of a Nation, so I'm happy to get plastic kits, to make some early Magachs and US M48's for 'Nam - any chance of seeing what's in the forces books?
@AllMiniaturesGreatandSmall2 ай бұрын
I'm planning a separate video going over the forces books in a little more detail.

Surprised they didn't go with the M46 and T34 Heavy instead of the M48 and M103 Respectively. I would have also preferred Pershings instead of Shermans, but it still looks like a cool set
@AllMiniaturesGreatandSmall2 ай бұрын
Well you can build the T34 Heavy tank from the current T-29/30 box set. There is also a card included. It's basically the poor man's M103 with the same gun but worse optics. Not sure on the M46 and it's lack inclusion.

I wonder if we will get an M-47 for Check Point Charlie, and other NATO allies (Turkey, Greece) for TY?

I could barely get the first two boxes they sold out so fast. The completionist in me is going to kill me and my wallet is already crying! 😂
@AllMiniaturesGreatandSmall2 ай бұрын
If these are priced the same as wave 2 then they aren't bad at 75USD a pop.
@ghostrider-sq2qd2 ай бұрын
@@AllMiniaturesGreatandSmall the price really isn’t bad. I’m just the say “armorer” of the group I play with. I usually buy most of the stuff for people to play with. It’s actually a really good deal.

American side of the box is more interesting than the German side of the box with fictional and by 1956 fairly obsolete vehicles.

What an absurd, wasteful product line.
