Phoenix is still my favorite card in the game. It's so strong on defense and the respawn mechanic is so fun to use. It's also so versatile and can be used in basically any beatdown deck and some cycle decks like miner and drill

I feel bad for the Phoenix. Phoenix was a card that essentially replaced an already existing card (Mega Minion) and was killed after many, many balance changes, which killed the card. Truly a shame as if it kepts all of its original stats and was made 5 instead of 4, it would actually still have a place in the meta, even in the current post-dagger meta

​@@ArookitonI know they're history videos. But it just helps put things in perspective easier. For example saying the zap was nerfed by 5% caused it to decrease in usage by 15%. Okay but why it's just 5% then you say its because it can't take out goblin barrel so people will go oh so that's why it decreased. Cause some cards can have their stats nerfed by 20% and still have 0 changes in use rate
