@TheGhettostylus Hi there, sure you can, I'm just using a cheapy Behringer interface and a cheap unbranded one for this video and it works great. As long as your interface has phono inputs or you have a pre amp its just the same as what I showed you with CD. the Behringer UFO202 has phono inputs and its cheap, but it will do the job. @BelgianJungleSound hi there, the monitor on the wall is for another computer that I built for digital DJ'ing that's not in shot, but I have VDJ on the laptop as well so I have been using that instead. I did another video showing the parts for the computer. thanks for your comment. nice one!!!

@stanton4958 thank you, ah I saw one of them vci 100 at the music shop I got the time codes from but it wasn't set up so I didn't get to have a go on it, what do you think any good? I had a go in the numark total control and a Hercules but I didn't like the Hercules, the total control was all right though. I don't think I could get rid of my 1210 iv had them for about 10 years now and ive got attached to them. thanks for your comment nice one!!!

Hi Viperfrank. I've been consuming your 'how to' series of videas on the Technics TTs and found them very helpful. The one problem I haven't been able to address so far is my anti-skate mechanism. It doesn't work, or more to the point, no matter where its set on the dial, the arm is pulled to the outer edge on BOTH my 1210mk2s. Can you help please? Everyone knows YOU ARE THE MAN when it comes to such things. Respect DJ De-Anarky (10 yrs on the wheels of steel)

Have you used the Vestax pdx2000mk2s with the straight arm? I prefer them to the technics as the pitch fader is more responsive. I dont touch the platter when mixing with them, just jog the fader up or down to lock the tunes into the groove. It stops the wow and flutter that happens with fingers on the platter. Wikid set! I'm a complete beginner and have been watching alot of vids on the structure of tracks and counting beats, bars and phrases. I understand it all but just wondering do people that can mix really well and have been for some time like yourself count in there head or does it just come down to knowing the tracks really well to the point where you don't even have to really think about it, you just know when to drop in the cue track and all that? Just curious

hi james, im having trouble with video mixing on virtual dj, whenever i play a video that has been encoded in h.264, virtual dj plays the video incorrectly, the way it plays the video is hard to describe. the graphics card im using is an integrated graphics card that came with my new laptop (intel gma hd).
