Wow. Railroading to and from the San Luis Valley has resumed. First the D&RG, then the D&RGW, then the San Luis and Rio Grande, now the Colorado Pacific Rio Grande Railroad. featuring EMD end cab switchers, 3-axle modern EMD turbocharged power, 2nd Generation Geeps, and the Spectacular San Luis Valley of Colorado, my old stomping grounds.

Now this Colorado Pacific Rio Grande Railroad is a really cool railroad I never knew about until watching this documentary. I love the paint scheme, the locomotives, and the scenery that this railroad runs in. I’m glad that those former BNSF SD70MACs have found a new home on the CXRG and that the railroad is using former DRG&W trackage. Great documentary again by C Vision Productions and I can’t wait for what you guys will make next.

Another very smart looking shortline that I hadn't heard of before. Good also to see more second hand EMDs finding a good home.

Amazing documentary of a new Colorado shortline railroad. The Colorado Pacific Rio Grande looks like a promising new era for Southern Colorado rail, with a beautiful paint scheme to match. I love the little SW8 locomotive too. Fantastic production, narration, and footage.

Thank you for doing a documentary on this RR. I've been waiting for someone to go shoot this RR and give us some history on it. Looking forward to seeing this RR's development.

Excellent production!! That’s a solid paint scheme, particularly on those 70MAC’s. I’d love to spend some time filming this outfit.

Can Someone explain to me why do shoreline railroads usually drive Slow? I assume they are not in rush like Class 1 RRs?
@caseyvanboxtel22794 сағат бұрын

Always thought the SLC was an interesting operation. I'm surprised the rails can withstand the weight of those newer locomotives.

Almost like they copied the name from CPKC lol

@@kennethphillips318But the CPKC name first appeared in 2021 when they announced it.
