In lkg after letter sound and vowel introduction teach cvc words. Also start sight words and while teaching cvc words teach small sentence reading . Yes you are right 🙂 , in the beginning we can ignore this just for the sake of teaching blending and when teaching spelling rules we can explain it. If the child already knows the rule then definitely we should not include ce ci cy in this consonant vowel blend chart .
