you're a really great teacher though i did caught on a point where u were teaching about the Phallic Stage, as u explained it is the attraction towards the opposite gender i.e mother for boys and father for girls....I think it means that if at later age a person comes out as homosexual it means it must have been evident during the phallic stage where the child must have showed affection towards the same gender. I thought over it and realised that it can't be true all times but seeing as myself it applies to me as i've been close to my mother more .... would u please throuw some light on whether i'm right or not Sincere Regards

No! She was not wrong. She just argued that the perspective of learning personality should not be gender specific & stick to the male perspective as done by Freud. Secondly she said that women are more likely to be affected by social & cultural factors than by biological factors.
