Further observation: GWR also have a lot of IETs, most of their trains are still in the old FGW livery, Paddington are giving most of their 165s and 166s to Bristol, GWR have recieved all there 387s and the Heathrow Express and Heathrow Connect service use Paddington.

I have a problem I have tried to do the tutorial on the high speed it will let me start the train it lets me put it in gear the problem is one I try to stop it tells me to put it into idle mode but the reverser won't move back into idle mode so I feel the tutorial because it won't go back into idle can you tell me how to do it please

Check that throttle is at idle too. That may be the issue

Hey EC in September had to go to Manchester by train it took the driver ages to sort out the carriages. Was it you lol.

Not at all; I would be sure to sort out the carriages before my departure time! But it is all part of the job of the driver, and also the engineers on the railways. It's brilliant in the depots in the morning, as trains start up and get refueled and consists being set up.

ECGadget yikes your FPS seems very smooth in Paddington are you on ultra? I have a Ryzen 5 and GTX 1060 but my FPS when on and around Paddington is low but out on the track it is 90-115fps

Not at all. Plus there are no Valentas on the GWR, or any railway now. VP185s on the Midland Mainline and ECML, and MTUs on the GWR. No fun at all!

Well, I used to pronounce it South-all and then was told that was wrong... despite having grown up with that. So, I tried to pronounce it the 'right' way. It seems that that is wrong and I was right initially! I am from London by the way. Which is why the area is all recognisable! But thank you for bringing this back to my attention. I shall have to go find out once and for all what the correct way is! I remember British Rail drivers for the Great Western Mainline calling it 'suth-all' too. Calling it 'South-all' is much easier for me!
