Seems that up till recently the Peaks have been considered second best to anything else. 67 has been proving itself in the hands of crews who supposedly have a liking for these iconic machines. The distant growl of their 12LDA28B Sulzberger engines certainly evoke memories of The Thames Clyde Express on the Settle Carlisle and Midland Main Line Passenger workings prior to HST take overs
