Great set of videos, thanks for uploading. Good to see lots of original NSE livery which I prefer to the later version. Never saw these in action but do enjoy watching videos of them from the 80s.

Magnificent footage, Thanks for posting. Although I don't think that's 50025 at 0:54 as 025 was in early NSE livery when written off in the 1989 crash whereas that's in revised NSE

Thanks for comments. Good spot! Yes 25 was still in early NSE, now you mention it! Will have to re-check the notes carefully, apologies.

Cleared it up. It's 50005 not 50025! Some confusion, but Collingwood did have the crests in revised NSE. Thanks again for the heads up.

@@d412video2 No worries, easy mistake to make. Still very much enjoyed it. I was fortunate enough to be on GB 2021 this year with the triple hoover run from Preston to Bescot, Absloutely fantastic.

BR blue era was best in my view. Didn't like large logo and what followed. Never liked NSE
