LCM ( Least Common Multiple), to do operations ( for only addition and subtraction ) we have to make the fractions in equivalent form , multiplying or dividing on both numerator and denominator After this we can apply the operation. There is formulae for this = (a/b)+(c/d)=[{(bd÷b)a}/bd] + [{bd÷d)c}/bd] (a/b)-(c/d)=[{(bd÷b)a}/bd] - [{bd÷d)c}/bd]

@@shwtagupta4512 yes , but sometimes this situation gets wrong take an example x/5 and y/7 here 7 is biggest number but it is not the LCM of 5. The correct LCM will be 5×7= 35
