But particles of solid vibrate in their places ● particles of matter are made up of very small particles ● matter has mass, everything in this universe has mass ● everything is in this universe is either made up of solid liquid or gas ● particles of matter attraction each other, the force by which they attract each other is known as cohesive force ● matter can change its state (ex- ice to water) ( boiling of water) ( naphthalene balls) etc ● matter is defined as anything that occupies space possesses mass or which can be sensed by our 5 senses ● there are something that is not defined as matter (ex - light, sound, smell, feelings etc) ● the spaces between particles is known as Interparticle spaces or voids ● the continuously moving of particles of matter is known as BROWNIAN MOTION ● the person who discovered the continuous movement of particles is Robert brown I hope this helps you army 💜
