Santosh's inclination to study 'a bit more' was successful to convince her father. Firstly her father possessed typical stereotypes about girls' higher education. But, as he observed that Santosh is determined to study further and sticks to her decision irrespective of everything, then he also tried to let her do so. Santosh always tried not to be violent to her parents and tackled them with patience and witt. She quietly followed her own decision of persuing higher studies and eventually her father also got used to it. Don't know whether it's helpful or not. Thank you ☺️
