What about the problem when BOTH SCR's happen to be turned on together, and they BOTH latch "on" disabling the capacitor? Do you know of any specific solutions to this? I have tried a couple that work, but would like one foolproof.

Meet prajapati plz refer low pass rc circuit then you can understand why battery voltsge = Vc , because capacitor slowly charges to peak point of Vs and R1 = 0v
