Man, this movie plays a bit of a mind twist on me. I really thought that John was a robot, till it reveals that he was out of his mind. I remember going 'What the heck'. And then at the end of the movie, the woman could be either the robot (though why she couldn't fight back against the gang members with her amazing strength is beyond me), or that she finally snapped.

I don't think she was supposed to be a robot, although that would definitely be a twist and would explain the supposed loose battledroid they never found but I don't think that's what the ending was implying. I think the ending was implying that even though he tried to kill her and was clearly out of his mind she took a twisted liking to him and began to understand what he was fighting for. She basically turned into him at the end. At least, that's what I always got out of the ending anyway.

this film has different variation of ending? i remember i seen this back in 90s. ending the male substitute and lady were communicating and disclosures they were wearing most advanced bullet proof jacket instead of themselves thinking of cyborg comparing to original 1999 film. was like very blue colored scene above the roof of office building

Great movie, I enjoyed it all the way through, I just wish he was in the first one, maybe even made this a show. I like how developed emotions like jealously almost conflicting like he liked her, and even abit of kindness when protecting the girl. Wait..how could that explosion do no damage to them? And is she the real cyborg?

makes sense if you payed attention to a very big detail, why the actual fck the chick was talking to f who? i am sure that it wasnt tht dude that told john he was human all along john was right i know it sounds wrong calling a hero but think about it what if john knew he was a human all along faked that he went insane thinking he was a machine all in the while he was working for a lone resistant against megatech? i know the ceo was killed in the previous movie.but come on guys! everything makes sense! john was to destroy. put a end to a mechanical nightmare and the nightmare is her but he fraking failed! the school kids are deep in shit. the other ones she mentioned,jeez this movie is also about the human fear of man-machine war, sorry for being long but it is the truth deep down every human fears machines becoming too intelligent and going berserk

I think she was talking to Emmett. I'm not buying the whole she was actually a Droid argument. I don't think that's what the ending was implying. She is suffering from PTSD (just like John was), and she's become him now, basically.

like i said in the my other account jenna is advanced moore advanced than the others android from class of 1999 because she showed emotion, so yeah she did her job well fooling everyone taht watched this movies thiking john was the actual droid pretty mucj yeah i think she was partly demaged near the ending and was repaired and she was wearing that silver thing to cover it up

I already thought she was just a normal human. I never knew why John wanted to kill her. The gang members is totally understandable- they're bad people, but her I don't know the motive was, where does it say/show/imply she is a rogue/berzerk/out of order android?

+thesnare100 'psychally' is never implied,but like wtf, who she was talking on the phone?! john is a human as told to him, its never going for sure, if she was the android she would have her tomentors before john showed up in town, give the fact that conicdencetily she was talking to the nameless/mysterious person on the phone, what if she was passing as a human(if she is in fact a android) only to revel herself when john died? and the fact john was thinking he was a machine just to get close and kill her? which would mean john is some sort of agent/undercover cop sent to destroy a possible killing machine? but then he failed, ok sorry for long,but think about, john saved her to get close,he did knowing that she is just a machibe, she eventually found that out and her mission was killing john in case she was compromissed?

No, that's not what it was she was wearing armor underneath her clothes, the same armor John wore. Basically, the ending is implying that she has become him. We don't know what happened to the loose battledroid or if there even was one? Throughout the movie, it was heavily hinted that in a twisted sort of way, John and Jenna were starting to develop feelings for each other. That's why John had trouble killing her, and that's why Jenna is shown here talking similar to the way he talked. That combined with a little PTSD (which John also had) and you get the end result. She's him now, basically.

She could have been, so could John but with different programming. Maybe her helplessness (a human trait) triggered the uncanny valley of unease or repulsion. He couldn't tell if she was a civilian or not. He was fighting the impulse to kill her as she more accurately showed normal human emotions than the sociopathic/psychopathic gang members. She could have been acting as a non-combatant and his mission was to eliminate a category of people.
