I may not like the voice Hades has in this, but the depiction of him is a lot better than any of the others I've seen. He's not a villain in this. He's just a loving husband to Persephone and a good ruler of the Underworld.

@JakobDailes I understand that but most renditions of Greek myths that contain the god Hades portray him, as you put it, in the modern combination of him and 'the devil'. And Persephone is usually portrayed as a weak, helpless victim who was stolen away from her home. I really enjoyed this Hades/Persephone portrayal as Persephone isn't a victim who can't do anything for herself and Hades isn't, effectively, 'the devil'.

Wat I like about this ep is the fact that they break the stereo type hades and make him really friendly and happy. I don't care if his voice makes him sound kinda gay, he's awesome in every other way! Lol but I love the fact that Jay has been friends with Theresa for like two eps and he's already head ova heels for her and becomes really jealous. And she has fun pointing this out!!! :) kind ov awkward between her and Orpheus, tho....

Poor Orpheus, shouldn't Eurydice be in the elysian fields? 4:10 WOW. I really like that for once Hades is NOT shown as a villian like he almost always is portrayed which bugs me no end, BUT I don't know what to make of that voice.

In reference to your speech about Persephone, her name literally means "Destructive Slayer", so I think she can take care of herself. P.S. Ever read the George O'Connor series "Olympians"?
