Learn how to overcome the fear of the blank page as artist Taria Dawson (@tarias_sketchy_adventures) shows you how to:
• block out loose, free-form shapes with watercolour;
• use these shapes as a foundation for your initial sketch, and;
• add details, make improvements, and address mistakes using coloured pencils and/or markers.
By the end of this class, you will gain the confidence to fill a blank page with spontaneous shapes, to kickstart your sketch!
This class is for beginner to intermediate artists who are well acquainted with the medium and supplies.
ESSENTIAL SUPPLIES
• Waterproof fineliner or fountain pen
• Thicker black pen
• Watercolour Set
• Watercolour brushes (suggested: Etchr Watercolour Brush set - bit.ly/Waterco...)
• Watercolour or mixed media paper (suggested: Etchr Perfect Sketchbook - bit.ly/The-Per...)
• Optional: India or Water-based markers
• Optional: Acrylic paint markers
