I think your urban sketching & classes are fabulous, Ian. So glad I found you when I am a beginner. Sketching with you is my passion this new year. You make sketching fun, & I can’t believe I feel that way. I have avoided drawing & leaned toward crafts intentionally my whole life. Now in retirement I feel “if not now, then when?” Thanks you. Creativity is contagiousness.

It varies, I would say the average is about 20 hours of actual painting time.

I would have never thought to use PVA glue to seal the sketchbook that is genius! I’ve been using cold wax, and that seems to work well, but I imagine the glue would be a lot less expensive. Thanks for the tip!
