Just recently had a knee replacement surgery and didn't feel like spinning, which is my go-to art. I stumbled across some watercolors I purchased over 40 years ago, have been carrying around, and never used. This is my second painting now during the past week. Jun-Pierre, you have such an easy and straightforward teaching manner! I so enjoyed this video, and my results weren't too bad for a neophyte!

I just bet the woman who wrote an epistle about Ian's work criticizes a lot of other things in her life. Some people just love to nitpick and complain. I LOVE Ian's work. His classes are very useful, provided one wants to learn. Thank you.

Tryed using Payne’s grey for a black ( goose feathers) Painted over with a mix of phalo blue and cadmium orange Made a wonderful blackish dark green

Hi! For the base line sketch I used Etchr Graphic Pen, which is waterproof. For the shadows I used W&N neutral tint watercolor. And the paper is Canson Montval 300gsm.

Can you teach painting faces in acrylic? I'm eager to learn that. There's a water color version on Etchr but I'm not a water colorist so was learning the media at the same time as the features and it was too complicated. Thank you for this wonderful session! Do more!!!
