Learn how to incorporate granulation effects in your urban scenes with artist Victoria Karchevskaya (@k.victoriart). In this class, she will show you how to:
• plan your paintings through thumbnail sketches and value studies
• mix granulating paints with your ordinary colours to create rich, bold colours; and
• effectively use granulation to bring drama and texture to your urban scenes;
By the end of this class, you will be confident in using granulating paints strategically in your urban sketches.
This class is for beginner to intermediate artists, who are well acquainted with the medium and supplies.
ESSENTIAL SUPPLIES

• A4 watercolour sketchbook (Suggested: The Perfect Sketchbook A4 - bit.ly/The-Per...)
• Watercolour Paints
• White gouache
• Brushes
• Dip pen with a fine nib and black acrylic ink
• Soft graphite pencil in 6B or 8B
• One small sheet of drawing/printer paper in A5 size
• Masking tape (about 25 mm wide)
