"Now remember that this isn't about becoming a comedian, it's about looking at the world in a different way. Our brains are wired to find what we set out to look for. So start looking for humor." Gold!

Absolutely right. I do agree. Personality is a large portion of humoristic expression. This is not for everybody.

Great ideas and I’m with you right up until your rules for pre-checking and boxing in your humor: these are clearly terrible and both practically and philosophically wrong. “When people can’t regulate their own emotions, they seek to control other people’s behavior.” Good humor is always a form of criticism. What we need is stronger, more resilient people, whose feelings aren’t so easily hurt, not weaker humor. -How will my joke make other people feel? > That’s literally the opposite of what you should do. 1) You aren’t aren’t responsible for other peoples feelings; 2) Different people will have different emotional responses to the same words; 3) Don’t make fun of people of lower status?? Please gtfo with this post-modernist woke nonsense. Viewing life through the incredibly oversimplified lens of high- and low-status creates false dichotomies and creates an imaginary victim role for some groups over others.

We need a course for humour? This is not it. Completely missed the point of why children and old people laugh more. They don't really think about it. It happens naturally. There is actually a course for humour? Satire
