Staging the trial in a literal TV set and using a remote to engage people, almost like Dipper's trying to pick the right channel, is genius. The remote's potential for interacting with arguments is endless, I'm so hyped. I can already see Dipper turning down the volume on channels he tries to ignore in a panic debate. I love this way of doing the debate, as I imagine doing the 3D scoping of the Trial Room the way the games do it would be quite difficult, but the way it's done here is very fitting. I also like how Dipper can press for more information the way he does, that feels like a skill specific to Dipper, and it allows us to gain a more in-depth reason for a character's line of thinking.

This fangan honestly has one of my favorite visual designs. Everything just pops together so amazingly and visually. Having the Non-stop Debate be done on TV monitors is such a creative idea, especially in giving Dipper a remote that not only uses the Truth Bullets in it, but it seems like there's a gimmick too where you pause someone's statement that was originally just blank that as they clarify and add more, a new breakable statement shows up. I love that idea so much for a class trial gimmick! Excited to see this come to fruition. My speculation on who the first blackened is is either Eddy or Morty.

In another hand, another mechanic that i think is going to be used with this is the return of the mass panic debates, you know, when a lot of characters are talking at the same time, whit the mechanic of pause i also expect that when dipper is questioning someone, someone else have a reaction to that statement. Kinda like the great ace attorney games.

1:37 Honestly love this feature, if i were designing a DR-styled game with this it would be so theres the main path of dialogue, but you can press a button to instead focus in on a specific character's line of thought. To prevent making gameplay too complex, you would only be able to use actual evidence in this mode (so no perjury + focus), except maybe as a feature for one of the later chapters. If that were the case, then I would say that making a mistake with perjury + focus would deal major damage to your reputation. There would need to be something to show when you can focus (maybe purple text), and some options may lead to back routes (like if you tried focusing at 0:40, maybe you discuss why it's possible she died from one attack with the Clean Hands evidence) I also think it would be cool if c1 has Dipper protag with just the regular counter and focus mechanics, Mabel with the counter, consent and lies in chapter 2, and then from chapter 3 onwards they work together (unless one of them dies) and can use EVERY game mechanic.

Woah that debate format is super awesome! The only thing I’d tweak about it is to make the text that dipper could ask someone to elaborate on to be a different color (like blue or something). It’d also be cool if he used the fast forward button on the remote to get to points he need to be at in the debates. To keep with the cartoony remote feel of the whole thing. Ok so, I love the theme for the gameplay part. Danganronpa was always about guns, truth bullets, blades and things like that. But since this is cartoons in Danganronpa it haves a tv, cartoon theme. That the TV's is each person talking,and that dipper can actually push the "pause" button to question someone, something that was never in the games before

@@frangolles Nah, Jenny has both an alibi as well as an inconsistencies in the evidence. It *is* her monopad in the evidence, but that is because Morty stole it while she was being operated on with Bubbles and Buttercup (the alibi). Part of the investigation uncovered that Star had been dragged, something even post-operation Jenny is strong enough not to have to deal with but is reasonable for the averagely strong Morty. Additional part of the evidence is the hair in the mask, hair which Jenny lacks but which description would fit Morty's. There are other pieces of evidence which narrow down the suspects to Morty as the absolute most likely if not certain, though I haven't quite pinned down the exact sequence of events.

He had not hostages, the murder happened after 12 so every hostage is dead now, so what is his motive? And also, really both characters that are the sole character of Thier show in this game dies? Both star and Morty? I know is pretty minor argument but it really bothers me to think that he have not motive at all
