It's not correct though, 1- Never heat the crystals to dryness 2- Never boil the solution 3- Overheating causes small crystals which are not Triclinic. I'm surprised our teacher also taught us the same, the process written in the lab manual gets you perfect deep blue crystals.

Samaan - impure sample , pure beaker , China dish , wire gauze , tripod stand , burner , glass rod Procedure :- beaker mein thoda sa impure sample of copper sulphate 2. 20 ml distilled water daal do or hilao for saturated solution 3. Milate milate 2 - 3 drop concentrated sulphuric acid daalna hai so that it gets mixed more perfectly 3. 10 minute tk milane ke baad use filter paper and funnel and filter it out then China dish mein daal lo samaan ko or paani nikal do 4. Heat it for many time and hence u,ll get tadakta bhadakta crystal
