I love how your videos pull back the curtain on all these surface modeling tools. Of course, the downside is that I become more aware of how precariously close to disaster all of the models I've built as an idiot student are.

Thank you for the kind words. As I like to say, I am not artificially intelligent but I have most certainly been genuinely stupid. Being stupid is easy. Being smart is simply realizing you have been stupid and actively bettering yourself.

We need it more and more Steve. There is no end to learning.🙂 I propose you take very complicated geometry / shape and generate completely in NX 🙂

Thanks for your efforts ❤ Could you please make a video to show us how to make a plastic injection mold on Catia V6 ?

Could you show the process of constructing the primary surfaces of the Mandalorian helmet? I'm interested in what are some ways to build hemispherical surfaces.

I would Looooove an explanation of the approximation tab in Catia ICEM! Dassaults courses and explanations does not help alot.

There’s an explanation in the documentation (F1), and even more in the Companion if you take the right learing path. It took me "a while" to fully grasp it (years) To clarify, you’re specifying how much a surface or curve will deviate from the overall tolerance. When comparing two curves, they don’t necessarily have to intersect if you’re using approximation/set tolerance. Additionally, the distribution and density of control points on the reference surface play a significant role. Also take into accout what will be your output surface type. I hope that helps answer your question!
