These were in books i had as a kid, seen loads of them. This is the first time i have ever heard one running though. So many cool bikes on this channel 👌

Now that's a head turner! Very cool. Love the disc brakes. Beautiful Rokon! Nicest one I've ever seen. Love the red too.

I remember the MX version. Braking was an issue do to no engine braking... torque converters, not brake converters. Cool blast from the past. Thanks:)

Yesssss I remember the Rokon MX 250 at a Honda dealership in Litchfield, Ct. Cool machine, but yes I could see how braking would be terrifying 😅 I also remember the translucent gas tank so you always knew exactly how much fuel you had left.

Love those bikes. Like the fact that you have to pull start them, just for something different. I love the fact that they can float. I thought they went out of business..Then I watched this video, and I heard you mention that they have a website, so I'm gonna go check it out. Great Video.

When I was a kid, a friend of mine had one. Probably roughly the same year. My recollection is that the original color was yellow.

People like to laugh at "The Rokon Guy" -but he will always get to where he needs to go (eventually). -The 50cal ammo box is a tasteful add, but need another to balance it out. (with a Rokon, 2 is always better than 1)

Very cool pc.. That box is dumb though.

My neighbor had 2 of these. He told me they had a Chrysler 2 stroke on the older ones. They still make these machines but I'm not sure what the new ones have for a power plant
@chayes954r Жыл бұрын
And Chrysler had a lot of experience in two stroke engines back then, with all the marine outboards they were making at the time. The original Chrysler outboard engines eventually had the name changed to Force outboard engines, if I'm not mistaken.
