Oh this brings back so many memories. I remember my brother and I having this set. I love those little figures.

It is a very nice set! I don't think I ever knew anyone who had one. I always preferred to build my own creations rather than what “came in the box”. Interestingly enough, today my son is doing the same thing.....

@@armandoestebanquito2282 I ended up using all the castle bricks to build my own things 😁. Great to hear your son is into Lego now and is building his own things, my oldest son is the same. I do think the old sets were better toys, as I mentioned in the video, you had to use your imagination. Thanks for watching Armando 👍😀

I would have absolutely loved this! I think the yellow castle is my favourite looking of all the Lego castles. There's something about a yellow toy that is quite appealing, perhaps because they really stand out on a shelf. I know this because I have a Reverse Flash figure. He's yellow, and he really stands out on the shelf. I too had a childhood featuring castles. Warwick castle was quite a nice one, as was Tamworth castle. They're both meant to be haunted, but I suppose all castles might be. I hope you can build the other Lego set for a future video. 👍

@@stephengray8374 castles are great aren’t they 😀 I think you are right, this one definitely stands out and yes it could have something to do with its colour 🤔😂 First we will see how this video does before I commit to building the other sets to film, but, the first day figures are looking good 😊 Thanks for watching Stephen and I hope you have a good weekend (maybe visit a castle…) 😀👍

This was a set I always admired but I imagine that I was always faced with the dilemma of Space or Castle and as I loved Space Lego so much, the castle never stood a chance. Funny you should mention the “illegal build” as the vintage taxi I recently built has a 2x1 tile that slots between two studs on the roof. Who decides what is and what isn’t illegal?

@@AllThings80s I had a good mix of Lego back in the day but would always end up building my own things. Yeah I find the whole illegal build techniques a bit silly, if two bricks stick together then surely that’s good right? I’m no expert in the matter, I watched a few reviews before making mine and some serious Lego guys were amazed that Lego would use this building technique, so I couldn’t help but make the joke about going to Lego prison 😂 As always, thanks for watching and supporting my channel Dean, much appreciated 👍😀

This is a great review And the personal story makes it even better. Though I’m a bit older, my first castle was 6080. I have since tracked down 375 and added it to my collection.
