Classic+ - A Minecraft Classic Revival Mod - Updated Trailer

Classic+ is a complete overhaul mod for Minecraft Classic 0.30, which adds a heap of new, original content, returning content, quality of life improvements and more, all while retaining the original look and feel of Classic. The mod aims to extend the base version of Classic in a way that feels like a natural, vanilla update to the game.

Classic+ is a part of the Legacy+ Collection, which is a collection of mods for legacy builds of Minecraft, all of which aim to revive said versions of the game with new content, whilst keeping the general look and feel of the versions in question. INSTRUCTIONS
The mod is a completely standalone jar file, which supports all major launchers. That being said, the preferred way of playing it is through either Betacraft or MultiMC:
BETACRAFT
Simply launch Betacraft, click Edit Instance, then go to the Mods Repository and choose the latest version of the mod.
MULTIMC
Make a new c0.30_01 instance. Then right-click on it, select "Edit Instance", go to the "Version" tab and on the right-hand side, click "Replace Jar" and choose the downloaded Classic Plus.jar file. NOTE: You need to also set up the Betacraft proxy in order to have sounds. In order to do this, go to MultiMC's Settings, then the Java tab and in the "JVM Arguments" field, paste in the following: -Dhttp.proxyHost=betacraft.uk -Djava.util.Arrays.useLegacyMergeSort=true -Dhttp.proxyPort=11702
VANILLA LAUNCHER/OTHER
Although other launchers are not recommended, they will still work with the mod. For the Vanilla launcher, you must copy the 0.30 json file, rename it to Classic Plus.json, and put it in a new "Classic Plus" folder along with the Classic Plus.jar file, then put said folder in the versions folder in %appdata%/.minecraft. Don't forget to also set up the Betacraft Proxy JVM arguments.

Last trailer was on version 1.1.6. Latest is 1.6.8 and finally got some time to make an updated trailer. @@matejamicic3037 these are planned for Infdev+, as Classic+ is too simple by nature and should be kept that way Spikes wont be added. Notch himself was unsure of that, but they may find their way in Infdev+ caves in the form of dripstone, similar to 1.18.

Sick! I tried installing it today on my laptop, with success, but for some reason it has really bad performance issues. I can’t seem to get more than 15 frames at any given time, often lowering. It doesn’t do this with any other mods I use, or any other versions, only this one. Is there a way to fix the performance?

Note: The performance issues also affect the title screen oddly enough, and I’ve set all the graphics options to the lowest settings, to no avail.

Thats odd. Normally if your pc is good enough it shouldnt have any issues, and even so the only lag that is considered "normal" is in ginormous survival worlds How much ram did you allocate to the game? You need at least 1GB, but preferably 3

Instructions are provided in the description. Easiest way is using the Betacraft launcher. Download it from betacraft.uk, go to edit instance > mods repository and select the mod version from the list.
