You should definitely continue into releases, especially while you still have this much enthusiasm for Minecraft, it will continue to bring in new viewership like me for example, I came to your channel because these videos are unique and informative. Also for many of us Minecraft players, nostalgic, as these releases (alpha and beta) are the ones I used to play as a kid and love revisiting them again.

The motivation and ideas just come as you go. As someone who mainly plays Minecraft Beta 1.2 for simple Survival, I must say that once your big projects like your giant wood houses with the occasional cobblestone accents start coming along nicely, you just really want to continue building it because of how rewarding it feels and how it just overall spices up the overall world by it just standing there. The challenge of having to make your stuff look good by actually thinking about which details are where is also a lot of fun, the game makes you think a lot more about what you're actually doing in those early versions.

Yep, I discovered Minecraft in this version, and it's crazy how it's "close" (in some way) to the modern Minecraft that we know today. This update really built what Minecraft is today !

Man this video gives me immense nostalgia. I started playing the game during the Beta days and it's crazy to me that I still remember exactly what was added in each version. I consistently played Minecraft from 2011-2021, but I haven't found myself playing the game even a single time in 2022 which is the first time in over a decade that I've taken this long of a break. No, It's too much work, he doesn't like at all mining for stone for small parts of his bridge, If he had to search for iron, Wood and redstone to build a railroad in an bridge that's this big he would go insane... Maybe when farms would exist, but there's still a long way to go

The Xbox 360 Edition was my very first exposure to Minecraft, I'm glad they started with the beta versions of the game, I really liked the old balance before they added hunger and stacked food. As with the 100 days in Alpha, this video does a good job of being really informative in a concise way, thanks for making it!

I started playing back in release 1.3 and man was that update fun, talking about all the updates and getting info on them is very informative and entertaining to watch. 6:31 this was around the time Jeb joined the team, and the first mob he made was the squid which was made from the AI of the cow. unfortunately he forgot to remove the milk function so you could milk squids.

I think it's crazy that I watched through the whole alpha video and beta video trying to remember when exactly I started playing Minecraft myself, only to get the very end and realize that it was beta 1.8 when I started playing. There were a lot instances that made me think "Oh it was this version!", but kept being reminded that I knew for a fact that food could stack. Although I suppose that it should have been pretty easy to figure out because I never had a PC forever, and so I first played Minecraft on the Xbox 360.
