Find you have to generally have at least 100 structure on objective buildings if you start to get gauss's involved. Also might want to consider using the battlefield support turrets to at least have a threat in play to discourage an attacker from just berserking in there. For our narrative campaign did like 10 turrets with ac 2's and an LRM 15 100 structure defending a derelict base. Turrets could be disrupted by ECM. Also had like 8 revenant drone mechs defending. We had a full company and were able to do it, but we didn't walk away unscathed. Needed a lot of help from our Dropship in the second phase of the fight when dealing enemy mechs.

@@kathilmechworks4895 yes we have other variables in our systems too. As this one is supposed to be a "raid" fixed emplacements doesnt make sense for me. But in some of my missions i started to use them too to give some fixed points for the defender. More buildings are not usable for the same reason(here i play more on the randomity how the map will looks like) and the walls can be placed as the defender sees better for game. Some new mission is in the cooking for more building, fixed turrets, dropships etc. Also some mission is changing in pointing to avoid 1 sided or too fast victories.
