In Vietnam they also have a humanoid creature like the Wendigo. They are skinny, pale white, but it has long black hair. It lives up high on the trees and pulls people up to drink the blood. The American troops stumbled upon the creature but thought it was the viet cong hiding up in the trees.

A while ago, I was watching a video about haunted Alaska and one of the comments really spooked me. A guy said he and his buddy were hiking through the woods when all of a sudden, a man dropped out of a tree directly above him and quickly ran away. The guy suspected the strange man had not realized there were two hikers but the bit that got me was that a: the hiker had absolutely no idea he was being observed or that there was anyone around and b: the man dropped approximately 30ft straight down to land right next to him.

I had a truly unnerving experience two summers ago while visiting Pembina River for the day. It’s located on Crown Land about an hour west of Edmonton with camping and day use. It scared me so bad that I briefly considered seeing a doctor. I was sitting at the riverside with my husband and dog, it was so pretty that I decided to close my eyes and meditate for a few moments. I had taken a small puff of MJ, nothing substantial or beyond my normal tolerance. I had only closed my eyes for a few moments when I heard a loud banging (sounded like fists pounding on a door) and deep demonic voice as clear as day saying “Let me in” I was so startled that I looked over to my husband to see if he heard it too. I could see he didn’t hear it, so I quickly got up and asked if we could walk. We started to head toward the parking lot and just as I started to calm down, I heard the banging and disembodied voice again, only louder and more aggressive. The voice was coming from within my own head, but it did not belong to me. It is the strangest paranormal type thing that has ever happened to me. I’ve read up on auditory hallucinations but I just don’t feel that explains this. I felt it was related to the place and perhaps that I was in an receptive frame of mind. It felt like something parasitic and disgruntled. After listening to these stories, I wonder if the windego is what I encountered. Whatever it was, it wanted access to me.

@@robbyv.526 thank you. I’ve been doing a little reading about what can cause the Wendigo to pick out certain victims. They might be ill, suffered a significant loss or be spiritually vulnerable for a number of reasons. At the time I had recently lost my dad quite abruptly and I was still really grieving his loss, so that makes some sense as well. Thankfully what ever it was encountered enough resistance from me. I’m not typically one to believe too much in this stuff in my adult years but the older you get, it seems the stranger you realize things really are.

@Lex Ruth The drugs are exactly how the ancient natives willingly accessed the demonic and spirit realm, no need to have any additional curse if you are in their territory when you take them.
@ghost-user559
@ghost-user559 2 жыл бұрын
@Lex Ruth You are correct, however all drugs are naturally portals regardless of intentions or any outside influences. Especially anything taken that has an ancient history and is more accessible to the spirits of that particular region. Or an individual can have more or less resistance depending on genetics and bloodline to various substances. Some people are naturally resistant to being possessed and others are more easily possessed. Add to that an actual intentional curse and you have the perfect recipe for disaster, but I have known of people who were totally gone with only one dose of certain substances that everyone else in their group also took and were not effected in that way. He never came back, and was broken from that point on. I think the reality is something in between. More like how predators attack the weakest or sickest in the pack, or anyone who falls behind. I think certain humans are naturally weaker to spiritual influences, and they are the targets of attacks. Some predators also target the strongest to eliminate all resistance. You are however correct that many covens and cartels use drugs for control or destruction of their victims. They can also attach demons and curses to any object or food, and that is what logos actually are and that is the sigil magic that all industries utilize to control the modern world through occult power.
@littlebird3495
@littlebird3495 2 жыл бұрын
@@ghost-user559 I think yours is a very interesting perspective worth consideration, I’d like to look into more about how the natives used these substances. Although I don’t believe it was the marijuana alone that caused the presence to attempt to attack me, it certainly may have made me more permeable. You seem to have quite a bit of knowledge on the subject. Do you think my experience sounds like a Windego? I must have had up some type of resistance, it seemed pretty furious with all the “door pounding”

Steve has posted two different fake dogman feet photos. The guy is a total boob who will repeat anything and then sometimes he won’t say things because he claims he might be just repeating a bunch of garbage for somebody else. He’s a total egotistical idiot. He called most bigfoot researchers crazy on one of his first videos. He’s offensive left and right and if you are defended then you don’t have any personality or any dog in the fight. If you actually knew what it took to do Bigfoot Research you would realize that Steve does none of it. He’s a coward who does not go anywhere or show you anything. His little green screen backgrounds are nothing if he’s not taking you on a hike and showing you what he’s all about. I’m sure it’s not a green screen, but I’m telling you the guy does not go out and show any Sasquatch structures or any Sasquatch foot prints or any Sasquatch tree Brakes. I don’t trust that he knows anything. He is as bad as David P for all of the crap that they talk with zero supporting evidence.

I could still hear whispering coming from the direction of the trail I was just on, so I went straight back to my cabin! Maybe it was the Loon Lake Wendigo! The story of the old woman, who threatened, that she would become a Wendigo, reminded me of stories from ethnic groups in Asia and the Pacific region. In a situation, where there's not enough food for everyone and you have elderly people in the camp, who suffer from physical or mental illness (for example, an onset of dementia, that they're still clear enough to recognise), logic would dictate, that you get rid of them (first). They've already lived their lives, they have no actual future to look forward to and they're taking away food, that could keep the productive members of the camp alive. But cultural rules often have little to do with logic. We don't just club granny to death to give her ration to a man, who can hunt. So, more often than one would think, it happens, that those elderly people commit suicide, to protect the group. It spares the others a very difficult decision. Sometimes they just leave and sit down somewhere in the forest until they're killed by a predator or frozen or starved to death. Sometimes they use weapons or poison on themselves or jump from cliffs. They know, that it would be bad for the group's morale, if they stayed and forced someone to take them out - because even with cultural taboos in place, at some point the situation would become bad enough and cause someone to end them. And killing a member of the group destroys the social glue, that binds them, and makes it even less likely, that they continue to cooperate and survive. I think we could have a similar situation here: The old woman basically blackmailed the group into killing her. She said, she would turn into a monster within a day, which gave them a (probably much needed) justification to kill her quickly. There doesn't need to be a Wendigo involved. This could just have been their version of senior suicide. She was taking one for the team, as bad as that sounds.

Do a video about the Wendigo hunters and killers. some first nations were asked by various bands to search out and rid their tribes of Wendigos.

The giant Wendigos of the North sound like Jotuns or Trolls from Scandinavian mythology. Maybe Wendigo, Jotuns/Trolls, and Nephilim are all one in the same.

6:49 this is common amongst cannibals across species, mad cow disease is such an example plus the Pygmy head hunters also had this issue and chimps who consume their own. So indeed the beliefs behind the ledges of the wendigo underdog are true. Look up CJD or Kuru it’s similar symptoms as described here.

The wendigo syndrome (when described as a “ mad look” in the eyes of the person who has resorted to cannibalism) sounds very similar to prion disease which is like mad cow disease.
