@generalcaeser91766 жыл бұрын
I am an old car guy from way back and watch the values of these cars daily. Without getting a good look or knowing any history of these cars, this guy seams to price his cars to sell. There is a little in there for him to keep his business afloat but priced to move the iron. Nice to see these places around that carry a good selection of classics the average working Joe can afford as they are rare. Remember folks, these are toys. You go out and show them off on Friday and Saturday night, then spend the week nights in the garage tinkering with them. If you do not yet own a tool box, start by dropping $500 into a decent set and clear your garage. =)
@rodsoltau13386 жыл бұрын
General Caeser they are a decent price if they are not full of rot, otherwise a good price if they were in Ontario.
@rodsoltau13386 жыл бұрын
jasper wyoming I see a lot of comments about the cars too expensive. That depends where you live, here in Ontario these old cars normally have a top restoration over a winter so you can drive it anytime from May till October,,so they cost a lot. These cars will be decent for a restoration, or a cheap drive as is. With all the good parts being reproduced today I'd rather do a rebuild.

AMG?! That's an AMX dude. Very rare and collectable. $15K is a good price but, like all of these cars, they're usually just painted to look nice but, when you start looking into them, there are all sorts of problems. That's why it's very important to know what to look for(rusty quarters in the trunk, wiring that looks suspect, etc.) so that you can negotiate the price. You've gotta buy low with these cars because you're going to be spending a lot of money keeping them running. I wouldn't spend more that 7 or 8K no mater how good they look because you're gonna need about the same amount to fix everything that's wrong with them and that's the price if you do the work yourself. If your paying someone you can at least triple that. New or rebuilt engine/trans. differential, every bearing in the car, probably the entire brake system, fuel system, all the rust in the frame and behind the paint, the entire electrical system that all the previous owners tried to "fix" in their own special way. See, this is why you see these cars go for a lot more on those auction shows like Mecum and Barrett Jackson because someone has already done the work.

Never buy a classic car from a classic car dealership. They price a 12K car at 30K. And they treat “tributes” or “clones” as if they are factory. A LeMans will never ever be a GTO, and a chevelle Malibu will never be a factory Chevelle SS.

Thank you for the trip down memory lane! Of course they are over price but there are some head turners on the lot. Good job son and keep up the good work.

Alex Powers for what looks to be just a 2 valve GT. If it was a cobra it would be understandable.

@@jamesdiaz2748 still a rip off for a stock cobra or mach1 they're like 6k avg

seems to be overpriced. you say nothing about the grand national, or the drop chevell. And them by themselves can bring high teens mid twenty if not thirty for that drop. But numbers have to match to the T.

Awesome candy store ! Cars that won't depreciate they're already rock-bottom can't go nowhere but up in value and most will still turn heads at a car event👍👍
