Hello Damian, thanks for that, really cool ! I have a suggestion for you : wouldn’t be nice if you can play Elvis’version (1968) of “Baby what you want me to do” ? I know many did, but I tried so many songs with others where I failed, then try with you then succeed, that I’m now convince that you “have the magic touch” to paraphrase The Platters ! lol ! 😜 Thanks a lot !

Awesome. That Epi LP is a joy to play, even though the neck is like a baseball bat. Those P90s put out some sweet tone.

Those Epi's are great guitars- The big issue is the frets. not the fretwork (necessarily) but the pot metal used to make them. Perhaps they have changed the composition of them but steady (daily) playing on an Epi will eat the frets away in about a year to two. Thats the "rub" with those guitars.

What an awesome lesson. Can’t wait to work on it. If I may, would you do a lesson on a similar groovy song Soul Twist by King Curtis? The guitar riffs in that tune resemble what you did on this lesson. I can’t find it anywhere else and it should be taught😀 Thank you Mr. Bacci

@Damianblf11 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching Ian. Glad to hear you're enjoying the lessons on KZbin. Keep at it, take things slowly and eventually I know you'll get it. At times I struggle also with licks. When I'm learning hard licks I practice them very slowly each day over and over until I get them down and can play them at tempo. Sometimes I'll work on licks for a few weeks till I'm comfortable with them. Cheers & keep on rockin' my friend :)

That's a really cool lesson. I love that "Freddie King" chord. So cool in "Hide Away." One thing others might find helpful is a list of a few songs to use for the various styles (box shuffle, jump blues, rockabilly, etc.) I know there are tons of songs in all these styles but one-or-two that might likely be called at a jam session so that a player could practice the head, maybe the vocal, then the solo and feel ready to play it with others. Just a thought I had...
