What an amazing tutoial, the licks are very simple to learn yet sound incredibly effective. And the structure of the lesson is so concise and not only that but you know EXACTLY where in the progression you are when carrying out the solo, which i find other tutorials lack. I just got back into guitar after a long hiatus away which has led me to being really rusty and i just learned this in a couple hours. Now to polish it up and get it up to speed! Thanks so much

Please consider setting up a website where your DVD lessons can be streamed for those with a paid account . I don’t want to download or buy a DVD and some updated courses would be good. I would definitely buy an all access pass to a website like that. I stream all my lessons form my iPad.

Love this channel! Damian teaches great stuff and he really looks like he sincerely enjoys sharing his knowledge. If you play guitar there’s Useful stuff here. These are really great licks in this video and fun to play. I keep coming back to this because I love this guitar. It went from “hey that’s a pretty Cool guitar” to “Wow I really love that guitar” to “I gotta have one!” The color, the tone, the tailpiece, the fretboard, the inlays, the headstock, the pick guard. Classic!! I’m guessing it’s a Gretsch Japanese reissue (which are terrific). I’ve owned a few vintage electrics and was always afraid to play them or take them anywhere. Wondering what model this is. Never owned a Gretsch but always liked the looks and sound of the White Falcon , Tennessean, etc.
@Damianblf Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for the kind words. I really appreciate it. The guitar model is a G5230 Electromatic Jet FT. I'm not sure if they are currently making this color anymore. I think it was a limited release that was only available at Chicago Music Exchange and Andertons.
