Thanks for nice review. I recently realized that GI Joe and Action Man never reached Sweden. Atleast I never saw them in the stores. Maybe I was at the age when the 2nd wave GI Joes released that other interests was more important but I didn't even see the vintage Joes in the stores and I practically lived in toystores around the 70's. The 2nd reason maybe that Mattel with Big Jim dominaned the swedish action figure market together with Lone Ranger rides again. In the late 70's the swedish toysellers decided not to sell warrelated toys from 1914 forward to modern era with the exception of models. The reason for this was that the goverment was preparing a bill for a law against sale and the market decided before.

Wow! Thats a shame the gov't wanted to do that. Did the bill pass? Were such toys actually outlawed?

@@MedicMike1964 Well the toysellers decided to not sell the toys before the bill passed. The effect was the same as the bill gone through and the toys just didn't reached the swedish market as the stores and importers just didn't distributed them. Still war toys are hard to find in stores although 45 years has passed.

Concerning the super pose-able body with the double jointed knees and elbows...Mattel released a Max Steel with a similar body. Have you run across any of those?

No, I haven't. The other super articulated I've dealt with are Formative Intl and 21C
